Genealogy Research Services: The Genealogy Committee will perform genealogy research from available resources in Daviess County, Indiana for $5.00 per hour plus the cost of copies. Please be aware that the courthouse charges $1.00 per page for copies. Please make a specific name request. Requests such as “all Smiths in Daviess County” cannot be honored. All requests for genealogy services should be pre-paid to: Daviess County Historical Society, Inc. Please allow 6 weeks for return as the Genealogy Committee only meets once a month. Questions may be addressed to the Genealogy Committee via e-mail, but research services will not begin until payment is received. |
